St. Mary’s Church in Oneonta, NY, Completes Renovations

The first renovations of the historic Diocese of Albany Parish’s mid-twentieth century church are now complete. . Construction at the Oneonta campus started in 2011 as the parish works through a prioritized list of  long-range plan sustainable improvements.

The parish now enjoys ample natural light at the altar from a new cupola as well as a warm, dry ceiling resulting from the roof replacement and increased insulation. Parishioners and visitors approach the church via well-lit sidewalks and a new handicapped accessible entrance plaza.
